When a couple approaches us for a wedding it is normally accommodated with a large to-do list. When Amy and Aaron approached us after their engagement session to do their wedding we were in a tiny dilemma. What do you say is the dilemma? Well, their wedding day fell right onto our wedding anniversary, September 22nd. You could not have asked for easier going cool cat clients, so we decided that we would take it on. We would just need to celebrate our day with them.
The hockey theme continued from their winter engagement shoot to their wedding. From blue and red colours to the cake, provided by Sweet Treats by Alexandra, the Toronto Maple Leafs (Amy) and Chicago Blackhawks (Aaron) were well represented.
The only to-do item they requested was that we shoot all their cousins, of which the bride had heaps of. It was the easiest to-do list we have ever had. We were given their full trust to document their day. We loved their trust and were given the freedom to create and document as the day unfolded. We shot the hell out of their wedding. The chaos that is inevitable and raw moments made their day.
Amy and Aaron’s wedding had the feeling of shooting an old friend’s wedding. The setting was in the heart of Toronto at the Columbus Centre. The DJ and MC, Digital X, were amazing at making the party move. It was effortless working along side the Life Lens Video crew. So dive in and take a look at this wonderful moments in time for Amy and Aaron, captured and frozen in these stunning memories. Our only hope is we have encapsulated their memories so that when they look back they will always be transported back to their day.
