How do I book services with you?
To reserve your appointment please fill out your information on our contact page. When we receive the questionnaire we will contact you to book your session. When booking your portrait session, event or wedding with us we require a 50% booking investment.
Do I need to do a pre-consultation?
Yes, we require a pre-consultation with you as it allows us to get to know you, your style and allows us to deliver the very best images to capture your emotions and to tell your story. In some cases we will chat with you multiple times prior to your event or session to ensure we create a successful environment to tell your story.
How many hours are included for weddings?
When we are invited into your world, we are there for you whenever your day begins. We will stay until all your story has been told. We never want you to be looking at your watch, so we want to remove that stress. We do not book multiple events on the same day, so when we are with you, you are our only priority.
What is the difference between a portrait session and an event session?
Portrait sessions are booked sessions of 90 minutes, which can be an on-location session or in-studio session. Events are a booking consisting of 3 hours of service as listed on our investment page. For event bookings, all digital files will be provided for download.
Do you travel outside of Toronto?
Yes, we do travel outside of Toronto. We will come to wherever you are. There is an additional investment for any location more than 60 km’s outside of Toronto.
Will my images be edited?
Editing will be provided based on the professional opinion of the person editing your images. We will sort through your images and provide basic edits to your images. Should you have a specific edit in mind, please let us know and we would be happy to create that for you.
What should we wear to our photo shoot?
Wear colours that represent your personal style. When selecting your clothing try to envision years from now if you will like the clothing you selected. We will also discuss this with you as part of our pre-consultation.
Will I receive all the images taken during my 90-minute portrait session?
You will be provided a link to download your high resolution/JPEG digital files from our online store. You will also have the opportunity to invest in additional products. Your online gallery will be active for two weeks from the date of your viewing session.
How long after the photo shoot will I receive my photos?
Viewing sessions for your images will be booked within 2 weeks of your session for portrait and stylized sessions. For engagements, weddings and events you will have your viewing appointment up to 8 weeks after your event. Viewing sessions will be through a video chat where the link to your images will be provided to you during our chat.
Can I print my own photos?
For sure! We will provide high resolution/JPEG images to you by download through our online store and will be ready for printing. We do offer quality rates for printing images as well, so feel free to browse through our online store to invest in additional prints with us. USB drives can be provided at an additional investment.
Who owns the rights to the images you take?
Neluka Photography is the owner of the rights to all images we take. When you purchase images from us, you will be given a “License for Personal Use” for your printing purposes.
