I don’t like to start things off as if it was a first. This has been a process to get to a blog. What better way to start, as we are right in the middle of winter now, it was a stylized shoot to show case a different way of doing self-portraits to draw out personality, a dash of creativity and before you know it, magic has been created! This will become a part of the “once was” legacy we will all have one day. Portraits are shot in more than one way, so why not get creative!

My muse, “Winter”. I’m forever fascinated with the seasons as they change and this is one in particular. My need to prove that I can take her on is always proven wrong when she takes over and shows me her strength.  This was shot in -10C, with a wind chill -15C to -20C weather. This specialty shoot was done in nature. When I say she was spectacular…I mean just that. Along with challenging myself, I never fail to challenge my subjects. True portraits are not achieved standing pretty with your best clothes on…show what you are truly made of when you step into front of my lens. Know that I want nothing but the best out of you, ALWAYS!
