Here’s a little insight into a WICKED shoot. No pun intended of course. October is one of my favourite months of the year. As soon as Sassy Fall steps into town we know that it’s open season on creating some creative shoots, a little out side the box. In the last couple of years I have started messing around in makeup and the more I dabble in it, the more I’m loving how I incorporate into my process prior to the shoot.
As always getting in some bonding time with my model as they sit patiently while I make them my canvas, is super good for the soul. I strongly recommend this to anyone who does the type of work. Witchy themed and in likeness to Elphaba was the heart of the shoot. I just love a girl (in this case) that isn’t afraid to look witchy to look good.
Huge thanks to Nivi for enjoying the process and making the Witch look WICKED! Don’t forget to check out the behind the scenes funny bits.
In case you were wondering, “Nope” I never saw “Wicked” the play, till this year in September. This shoot was shot last year and a tad behind. Our new website, which we love and have a section to upload amazing blogs, only got done at the beginning of this year. In short we will be unleashing all sorts of blogs, that if you have been following us for a while and have not seen the full shoot for. Wickedly fabulous excited!
