Fall Wedding | Aaron & Amy
When Amy and Aaron first reached out to us after their engagement session, they had one simple request: for us to capture their wedding. But there was one tiny dilemma—something we didn’t expect. Their big day was scheduled for our wedding anniversary—September 22nd! However, knowing how easygoing and cool they were, the decision was an easy one. What better way to celebrate our anniversary than by preserving the love and joy of another couple on such a meaningful day?
A Wedding That Tells Their Story
Amy and Aaron’s wedding was infused with the personal touches from their winter engagement session—a playful nod to their shared love of hockey. Amy, a Toronto Maple Leafs fan, and Aaron, a Chicago Blackhawks supporter, brought their teams to life in the smallest details—right down to the cake, which was beautifully crafted by Sweet Treats by Alexandra. It was a perfect reflection of their shared passions.
Their Only Request
When it comes to wedding photos, couples often have a laundry list of must-haves. But not Amy and Aaron. Their only request was a shot of all of Amy’s cousins—an easy task when you have such a big and lively family! With their trust in us to capture the day as it unfolded, we were given complete freedom to document every raw, emotional moment that made their wedding unforgettable.
Like Capturing Old Friends
Photographing Amy and Aaron’s wedding was like being part of an old friend’s celebration. From the energy and warmth of their celebration at the Columbus Centre in Toronto to the seamless flow of the day, we felt so connected to the moments unfolding around us. Digital X kept the dance floor alive as both DJ and MC, and working with the Life Lens Video crew made the entire experience even more special.
As we look back on their day, we hope that every time Amy and Aaron revisit these images, they’re transported back to those perfect moments—filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
